Alki’s Librarian, Laurie Iba, is reaching out to our Alki community with a request for donations of sleeping bags that she collects to provide to Seattle’s homeless. As the temperatures fall the need rises for those members of our society without a warm bed to sleep in at night.
If you have a cozy sleeping bag to donate to this cause please bring it to the school during the month of October and leave on the cafeteria stage so Mrs. Iba may gather them and get them to those in need.
