The Seattle Public Schools are partnering with the Visiting Nurse Association (SVNA) again this year to provide flu vaccine for our students and families.  Our local clinic will be held at West Seattle High School on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 (3:00 – 6:00 PM).

The clinic is open to all Seattle School District students, staff, faculty, and their families. Consent forms will be available at the event.

All participants will be asked to provide their health insurance information to receive an immunization.  The SVNA will electronically bill insurance, except Cigna, which is not accepted.  Flu shots are considered preventive care and are not normally subject to deductibles or co-pays.  Students 18 years and younger who have no insurance will be offered a flu vaccine at no cost.  Adults without current insurance coverage may pay the $30 immunization fee for standard Trivalent vaccine with cash or check.

We are committed to helping our students remain healthy throughout this coming flu season, and hope this will prove convenient for you.
