In addition to improving health and developing motor skills, fortitude and fun, dance provides constructive interaction, patience with oneself and others, plus the ability to listen and follow instruction.”   -Kim Dinsmoor, Artistic Director, Dance! West Seattle
Ms. Dinsmoor has the privilege of working with students at her dance school since 1994. A former company member of Pacific Northwest Ballet, her experience of dancing and teaching dance over the past 40 plus years has afforded seeing young dancers progress to wonderful adults through their training. Kim has also enjoyed working in Corporate Fitness, designing health and movement plans for individuals. She is looking forward to more amazing experiences of guiding students through their formative years.

MARTIAL ARTS WITH GURO BOB AND SEATTLE INTEGRATED MARTIAL ARTS:

SIMA (Martial Arts) with Bob Heinemann (trained under Daniel Inosanto TRAINING PARTNER OF BRUCE LEE!!!!!)

At Seattle Integrated Martial Arts, we specialize in the cross training of different martial arts movements, methods, and techniques. One of the many benefits to this type of training is how it educates the student to be mentally agile while working the body in a multi-directional and functional format. Meaning, it’s fun and great exercise!

In these 30 minute classes we will be working out with the same techniques we teach our students here at SIMA and focus on footwork, kicking, punching, defensive techniques and more. We’ll be getting all parts of the body working as well as honing our focus skills. No equipment is needed, just some space to move around and kick and punch!
Guro Bob Heinemann is the head instructor and owner of Seattle Integrated Martial Arts in West Seattle. He is an instructor in JunFan/JKD and Filipino Martial Arts under Guro Dan Inosanto and Guro Rick Faye, Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under Professor Brian Johnson, and Full Instructor in Muay Thai Kickboxing under Ajarn Chai Sirasute. He has been training and teaching these arts now for 21 years.  Bob is also a professional musician, a youth lacrosse coach, and father of two school age boys and has been living in West Seattle since 2009.
